This tiny independant venue is perfect if you missed your traditional brunch meal during the week-end, because they provide this kind of meals every day !

Pain quotidien

Even if one of the main rules I followed when I lived in London was to banish to go out in the chains, especially when your French friends are requesting for it, you can't avoid to go out at least for once, in one of the many branches of this French chain. I really liked their cappucinos though and...

Bloody French

I came on Westbourne Grove many times, because when you are French abroad indeed, sometimes you want to feel like "at home" between French people, or you want to impress your branded new English friends. So here you are, if you never tried before the Poilâne bread, so famous, especially in Paris.

Granger & co

In the heart of Notting Hill area, on the very smart Westbourne Grove, a delicious but busy place to get a nice meal.

Talkhouse Coffee

The most recent venue launched on Portobello Road, I liked the very clean-cut atmosphere : virigin walls, the secret sliding door of the ladies in the corridor, the original flavours of the coffee they offered

Gail's

This chain deserves to be quoted on our blog too, because the branches are all small and look authentic as a true French bakery. I like especially the one on Portobello Road and the one in Chiswick.

Electric Brasserie

Located on Portobello Road, I recommand to book before coming at brunch time, because the place is really packed. It is the typical cliché of a trendy brunch place : you are surrounded by celebrities, creative people, all living next door. - Don't forget that Notting Hill Gate tube station is...

Raoul's Café (Talbot Road and Hammersmith Grove)

13/06/2013 12:29
Raoul's has two branches were I had many brunch appointments, but never with my loyal French girlfriend actually. The Talbot Road one is very busy because it is close to Portobello Road, while if you fancy a more relaxing place to eat, I recommand the Hammersmith borough one. More room, less...

Hummingbird Café

13/06/2013 12:27
This place is quite far from Shepherd's Bush tube station, towards Acton, but it deserves the way, because it is tiny and very glamorous, haunted by local people only almost indeed, because of the location.

Queen's Head in Brook Green, Hammersmith

13/06/2013 12:23
This place is very famous for its big and very nice backgarden, I mention the monthly very exciting and interesting treasure hunt too, otherwise the brunch menu is caracterized by the Benedict or Royal eggs, on Saturdays, as on Sundays they offer a traditional Sunday roast.
